She has the most comfortable feeling when I have her in my arms, when her loving arms hold me tight.
She has the most beautiful look on her face when she smiles
A look in her eyes I feel the strongest connection, like shes pulling me close.
She isn't just looking at me, shes looking in me.
A look only one in this world can have on their face.

I love it

and I miss it greatly. But it won't be long, it won't be long

A 7 year gap between a sibling seems to to widen even more as you get older. When I'm a parent I hope my children don't have to experience such a big gap, I'd try to not have that happen.

When he was 1-9 or so I got along with him, and it almost felt I was his age whenever we hung out and played outside.

The things we can relate to are shrinking more and more. Now it's only a video game and Adams middle school. He sounds bored over the phone when we talk, like a grandparent talking to their little kid grandson over the phone, that's talking about the most random and boring stuff. It ends with asking him if I can get him to give the phone back to mom or dad. I think and think of what I can say, I feel like I'm talking to a stranger. It seems like he'll always be too little to be that brother I could hang out, go places with, and be cool with.

He grew up with some quality traits I didn't have right off the bat. He has a big heart, he's a really good and kind kid.  He loves and takes care of all the animals in the house. I just hope the world doesn't do things to him that may make him change into someone he's really not. There's a lot of, not good things out there.

Today I had a very rare Navy occurrence.

I ran into my drill instructor from bootcamp at the Navy exchange store. It's very interesting to be able to talk one on one in a normal discussion to the guy that woke us up, grilled us, motivated us, showed us how it's done, ran with
us, and so much for two months.

Seeing his face brought me back to RTC. I remember everything. Most people hated their RDC's in bootcamp, but we were proud we had him. He wasn't the easiest, but he was the best.

I need to get out of here.

People are only meant to be at training commands so long, lol.

I'm almost done. Within a matter of days too. And my orders should be available within a week or very close, I really can't wait.

The ball needs to start rolling. "It's getting there" It finally is. All the hard work is about to pay off.

How I landed in snow, and I met someone friendly in Wisconsin

In today's post,

Right to the point (some not in the post too)
1. Wisconsin is a cool state for someone who wants to get away from the city
2. People are nice in Kenosha. I helped out somebody.
3. They have trolly's there.
4. Watch what you step into when it snows
5. Don't forget to bring gloves
6. Ducks don't like it when the water freezes over there legs and feet. They can't move. Throw a big snowball in the lake beside them and hook them up. It breaks the ice so they can roam free.

I was in Wisconsin today. very cool state, and some nice places there.

Picture this...snow almost everywhere. It was cool.

I slipped the first time but the second time I was walking on the rocks on the beach, the huge big ones that they put next to the water. some had ice of them,  and i managed to get passed that.

But I got off a rock to what I thought was back to the ground/sidewalk of the park, because the level matched it, but i stepped in a 3 feet deep area, then a rock down there slanted with ice, so the upper part of my body feel forward and i feel even more in. then the cement, which I found out, with my elbows. snow scratches the hell out of you when you slide on it.

I was originally holding the camera, but as I continued to fall into whatever I was in I ditched it, then used Navy procedures I learned about in boot camp for falling and shock. What a dork huh? lol. That stuff worked though. My elbows hurt for a second, but for a fall like that I expected worse.

I felt like I was in a pinball machine. From the moment I fell till the point I stopped was about a whole 7 seconds. I couldn't help to laugh a little bit when i finally stopped falling. I thought I was going to be seriously jacked up by the end, lol. I looked so retarded when it happened. I thought I was still out towards the lake a little bit, so I'm happy I didn't slide into it.

And if you looked inside, the sidewalk didn't start yet, soo confusing to try to figure out where things are when everything is covered in snow. there were more rocks, they were just all completely covered to the point they were underneath.

A girl around my age, taking pictures not to far away, saw the whole thing. she walked over and asks

"Are you okay? Are you from around here?"

"Around here? No, not even close. Pretty freakin' obvious huh?" as I was crawling out of the hole I fell in

"Oh, yeah, How is it there?"

"It's cool. It's a lot warmer, no snow, I'm not used to this, I still haven't seen snow much in my life. I like it, except when this happens"

Do you know how to fix digital camera's? she asked, thinking I just totally screwed up my camera (it only slid though).

"I probably could, did it break or something?" as I picking it up, I couldn't find anything wrong

"Well, it's actually mine, it says card error, it wont even take pictures. it's never done this before" (thinking in my head, do I really look like I have a "I can fix stuff" look on my face or something? or do I look that much like a nerd or something? haha. that was quick to ask. I looked at it and found out she needed to format the card on the camera for it too work, that was it. nothing major.)

"So you are not from around here either, taking pictures and all?" While trying to look at the camera display for a format option. It was hard at first, my fingers were a bit swollen and red from the cold. Then she said how she was from the area, but was taking pictures for an art project, and I told her my fiancee does the same thing. She was really interested about it.

"nice to meet you by the way, my name is Allen. " (Ohh yeah, I almost forgot, I have a first name too, haha the military makes you forget sometimes :p. I almost told her my last name, not my first)

"So what brings you all the way here to Kenosha?" Then I told her about how I was in the Navy, near Chicago, and she asked how it was, and then what I did in the Navy.

"Interior Communications Electrician" forgetting how nobody knows what the heck that means

"What's that?"

"I work with a lot of electronics. I've always been good with that stuff. Anything....even camera's, haha"

"oooh, haha, okay, that's cool" Then told me where I could fine a cafe place to get some hot coco and told me some places that were cool in town, thanked me for fixing her camera again, then she left because her mom was picking her up.

People are really nice there. I kinda felt bad, because earlier some homeless guy popped out of nowhere and was right behind me. It was almost obvious that he was following me, and I made a major change in my movement and he was still there. I was about ready to move my wallet to my front pocket, and planning what I was going to do, and I turn around "Steel toe boots, size 11, only three dollars everyone." he says. I smiled, "already got my size 11 steel toe boots sir, thank you though." I'm too used to Los Angeles. lol.

Pictures should be coming soon.
